About Us

JOHN WEATHERLEY
Founder/Producer

This project represents the next step in a career which has evolved from working as a carpenter, to being a residential building contractor and most recently a real estate asset manager.

After concluding a very successful business deal, John witnessed at first hand how the best personal financial advice is outdone by impulses and old habits related to money. Searching for a way to help people deal sanely with such an important aspect of their lives, he came across the story of The Three Jars. It struck him as a simple and effective way to teach children basic values and ideas related to money, but one that needed to be reinvented as an interactive toy.

John lives in Connecticut with his wife and two dogs, happily — through car, phone, and email — never too far away from their children and grandchildren.

Alex has worked for small design studios — Alexander Isley Design, Parham Santana, Best Design incorporated — and huge corporations — Spy Magazine, Time Inc., and Victoria's Secret. His work has been widely recognized with accolades and featured commentary in several publications.
